HTB Enters Entertainment Contest

On 20^th May 2000 the Band entered the Maurice Wright Challenge Cup at Bohunt School Liphook. This is an entertainment contest between Liss, Haslemere and other local bands. It is held annually and is organised in turns by Liss and Haslemere. This year it was organised by the Liss Band.

Our programme was:

• Pennine Way
• Sergeant's Song (Bass soloist Maurice Wright)
• Puttin' on the Ritz
• Bandology
• Gymnopedie
• Farandole
  

The Band came 3^rd out of 5. The competing bands were Cosham, Liss, Farnham and Blendworth.
